George Henry Ramsey, 79, of rural Ossian, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at his home. He retired from Dana as a furnace worker. Among many things, he enjoyed gardening, painting, and sports. He was an avid Packers, Yankees and Notre Dame Fan. In past years, he had a passion for coaching, especially baseball and softball. George Henry Ramsey, 79, of rural Ossian, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at his home. He retired from Dana as a furnace worker. Among many things, he enjoyed gardening, painting, and sports. He was an avid Packers, Yankees and Notre Dame Fan. In past years, he had a passion for coaching, especially baseball and softball. Surviving are his daughters, Cynthia (Wayne) Cupp of Fenton, MI, Carol (Ron) Prescott of Bluffton, Cheryl (Arlyn) Fulk of Royse City, TX, Charlene (Don) Green of Ossian, Christina (Lonnie) Cumpton of Irvine, CA, and Catherine (Steven) Null of Fort Wayne; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, IN 46777 with visitation 1 hour prior. Memorials may be made to Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
